~ What We Do ~
Law & Grace Chaplains are assimilated into the departments and offices as if they were themselves salaried staff. They work in all levels of the judicial system, including those in court services, law enforcement, corrections and family after care.
We believe that a properly trained and caring chaplain in a courtroom can deal with the hurts and confusions that the victims as well as the families of the offenders suffer.
We believe that the police chaplain has a duty to support the law enforcement officer with daily prayer and personal assistance when needed. Law & Grace believes these men and women literally fulfill both a biblical and God-appointed role as “ministers of God” (Romans 13) and are ordained to that end.
We believe a chaplain trained in corrections can work with the criminal and general inmate alike. We preach Christ and teach biblical morals and principles that will help men and women make right decisions to restore personal and family victories and change their lives.
Our goal and mission is to equip chaplains to serve both the law enforcement officer, the criminally offended and the charged or sentenced offender and his or her family. In order to accomplish that goal and be an asset to the local community we just use the local church. We make our materials available to the local church, understanding that upon release all inmates will need further teaching to be an effective asset to his or her community.
